Formerly restricted to the premium Grand Seiko and Credor brands, Spring Drive found its way into Seiko’s sporty Prospex subdivision at Baselworld 2019. The Prospex and Presage lines are intertwined as the home for the more high-grade and enthusiast-focused timepieces that feature Seiko branding.
Now Seiko has just rolled out the first-ever Presage watches powered by the brand’s best-known innovation – the Spring Drive, an electronically regulated mechanical movement previously only found in Credor, Grand Seiko and Prospex watches.
